There will be no better place to welcome 2020 than Café del Mar Bali as two of the worlds most extraordinarily talented artist’s hit the decks for what promises to be a truly electric evening.
Touted as one of the most prolific remixers of all time, the Grammy award winning and legendary house music superstar DJ DAVID MORALES, will be kicking off the evening in a one off, not to be missed, sunset set. As the clock strikes 12, there will be glitter on the dance floor as the ultra-chic, discolicious DIMITRI FROM PARIS sets the stage alight!
A native New Yorker, David Morales grew up during dance music’s most influential era and frequented its legendary clubs. It was in such famed establishments as the Loft and the Paradise Garage that he honed his skills before embarking on a remixing career in the mid- 80’s – right when the art really started taking off. David Morales has remixed and produced over 500 releases for artists including Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Eric Clapton, Pet Shop Boys, U2, Whitney Houston, and Jamiroquai. 2019 has seen David Morales write a new chapter in an incredible career. His return to the forefront of house and electronic music has produced a celebrated run of singles, the most recent being ‘Escape’, plus his Kings Of House collaboration with Louie Vega ‘Still Here’, and a slew of Red Zone remixes and releases (‘Detention’, ‘Red Zone 5 EP’, ‘Away From The Storm’. As prolific as ever, David’s music is getting repeat DJ support from Kolsch, Boyz Noize, Honey Dijon, Âme, Nicole Moudaber, Disclosure, Damian Lazarus, Basement Jaxx, Catz ‘N Dogz, Huxley,
Cassius, Horse Meat Disco, and many more.
