CLEARLY DEFINED APPROACH – MILTON BRADLEY

MILTON BRADLEY BALI DEBUT FOR INTERSTELLAR SYSTEMS AT KOH ON 14TH OCTOBER 2016 – One of Berlin’s most gifted artist of our times will be playing his Bali Show at Koh with
support by Interstellar founders Cabbit & 3HM.

Bali, 20 September 2016 –
There’s no doubt that Milton Bradley is a magnum opus in Berlin’s and Europe’s everexpanding techno scene. Having built up a reputation as a skilful and forward-thinking
artist with a versatile yet flourishing sound, his dj sets vary from dark experimental techno to the deepest industrial sounds and the most iridescent textures, fully surrounding the last 20 years of musical history.

Since the early 90’s, he has been producing techno under an array of aliases including the mind bending thick and irrefutably recognisable “Milton Bradley” acid as “Alien
Rain”, the “End of the World”, ultra-gloom cinematic techno under “The End Of All Existence” and the raw, industrial cuts as “K209” alongside Henning Baer.

Idealism is the driving force behind all of Milton Bradley’s thoughts and moves – a fact especially prevalent in his musical output. Growing up in Berlin in the late 80s, Milton Bradley’s first contact with the electronic side of music was acid house, and along with it the love for early Belgian techno evolved. He soon started collecting records and DJing, but it wasn’t until 2008 that he decided to put out music of his own. “Do Not Resist the Beat” was born, a label essential for Bradley’s honest and clearly defined approach to producing. With the attempt to capture personal emotions and specific moments of his life, the German producer quickly developed his own distinctive and gripping sound.

Following a series of solid 12-inches on his own label, he released the extremely well received “Unheard Voices From Outer Space” EP on Prologue in 2010. That same year he
created the apocalyptic ambience project, “The End Of All Existence” – a bleak and droning soundtrack written for the end of the world, which he premiered live at the Berlin Atonal festival in 2014. Milton Bradley’s live performances are described by Little White Earbuds as “an outstanding exhibition for his material, rhythmically diverse, thematically consistent, and thoroughly druggy and dystopian.”

Bradley’s love for acid house always stayed with him and eventually gave birth to the 90s acid-inspired project “Alien Rain” in 2012 – the name recalling a fictional alien
invasion on earth. Hypnotic, haunting sci-fi 303 rhythms shape the sonic signature of Alien Rain, teamed with an emotive intensity characteristic of Bradley’s productions. Expanding his variety of production outlets, 2012 also saw him set up the K209 moniker and imprint together with Grounded Theory associate and good friend Henning Baer. To date they have released four highly acclaimed EPs presenting raw and effective quality
techno.

With various flourishing projects at hand as well as releases on other well respected labels like MDR, Prologue, Ann Aimee and more, Milton Bradley has become one of the most promising producers within the genre, whose dystopian, industrial-influenced and tripping sounds are also representative of his internationally-acclaimed DJ sets. His
gigs take him from Europe’s most eminent nightclubs to shows in the United States as well as in Asia, with many more DJ & live tour dates and musical output still to come.
