Looking at Chace, you would never guess that he’s just turned 18 years old. The Shanghai-based singer, songwriter, DJ and producer is certainly not lacking in experience anyway, or talent, but oftentimes (usually) that’s not enough. For Chace, however, thanks to a chance encounter at a club in Shanghai, he got lucky and what a year it’s been since. In early 2016 he landed a phenomenal 4-track EP on Yellow Claw’s Barong Family label called ‘Destination’ that was praised by critics for its extraordinary level of artistic maturity. Not long after that he left China for the first time and became the first Chinese artist to play Tomorrowland. But he wasn’t riding on luck anymore, the wunderkind sealed his spot in with the Barong Family after making a massive impression on its boss.
From a young age, Coone has been mesmerized by music in all its different shapes and forms. The creation of his successful label Dirty Workz was a huge step in this young man’s carreer, allowing him to take his music beyond even his own expectations and also giving new talents within the Hard Dance scene a respectable platform to launch new and exciting sounds into the scene.

– Mike Cervello
You might know Dutch producer and DJ Mike Cervello as one of the hitmakers behind the massive banger “Smack”. The track was created alongside his Barong Family brother Cesqeaux. He is a rising star on the label and an artist to watch in 2017 for hits that make it to the mainstage. And according to that deep voice that narrates the Yellow Claw mixtapes Cervello is the “savior of real house music”.
Moksi’s first mutual work, a 45 second snippet Getting Higher, later on elaborated into track, was noticed by Yellow Claw. Soon after that Moksi were making a debut EP Brace Yourself on Barong Family, where they were provided with absolute creative freedom. The two guys gathered in the studio to experiment a few melodies with no high expectations and have a little fun. Seems like je ne sais quoi attitude turned into something huge. Not only Brace Yourself EP lit social media platforms, was teased on YC’s MIX 8, but got massive live show exposure from high rollers in the game. Moksi are also those lucky ones or maybe even the only ones who can say that their first DJ gig was at Tomorrowland. Guided by the Barong Family professionals, Moksi went back to the studio to branch out and embrace their creativity, which after only a month resulted into a sophomore EP “The Power of Moksi”, which is a 4 track set infused with incredibly hard hitting drops, has already gained a lot of support by the heavyweights of the scene. Followed up to both of the EPs and the third one on the way this spring, their remix history includes YC’s Till It Hurts, No Class, OWSLA’s biggest dance record of 2015 Deep Down Low, DJ Snake’s Propaganda, a track of Blood For Mercy album, and counting.
– Victor Niglio
Holland’s Wiwek is an in-demand DJ and producer known for his cutting-edge electronic-based dance music he dubbed “jungle terror.” Born Wiwek Mahab into an Indian family, Wiwek grew up in a small town in the Netherlands, where he was exposed to music early on by his father, a traditional Indian musician. However, by his teens Wiwek was already listening to a heavy diet of electronic dance and trance music. Around this time, he also began experimenting with making his own tracks. Influenced by his Indian upbringing, he started mixing in samples of traditional hand drums and steel drum kicks alongside more standard EDM sounds. It was while uploading his songs online and searching for an applicable genre that he came up with the term “jungle terror.” The sound, and the term, quickly caught on as Wiwek built a loyal online following.
