Move over Deadmau5, EDM has a new king of trolls and it’s Salvatore Ganacci. You may remember Salvatore from last year’s Tomorrowland when he yelled over the mic “relax your anus.” Well now Salvatore is taking his antics to a new extreme by his outlandish dance moves, “hee-ha-hooing” on the mic, and handstands in the DJ booth. With collaborations and remixes with Swedish House Mafia and Major Lazer Ganacci is the real deal its his stage antics that has the purists up in arms but who doesn’t love a good stir of the EDM pot for some quality lunch time laughs?

The huge energy and experimental swagger of Swedish DJ/producer Salvatore Ganacci’s now finds representation on every corner of the globe.
Having garnered millions of streams and landmark international shows courtesy of his hard hitting and experimental sound, his fusion of big room, dancehall and modern pop music has separated this high octane performer from his Swedish contemporaries in a big way.

With releases across the likes of both REFUNE, Mad Decent and Dim Mak, 2016 proved a marker year for Salvatore and his original output. Uniting with Sebastian Ingrosso and Swedish newcomer LIOHN for REFUNE single ‘FLAGS!,’ the summer also saw Salvatore’s debut Refune/Warner Music single ‘Dive’ alongside Enya and Alex Aris.

Streaming more than 9m times on Spotify alone, the track received huge international tastemaker attention, peaking at number 15 on Billboard’s dance charts and scoring an official collaborative remix from Sebastian Ingrosso as well.

Salvatore makes good use of the DJ decks and DJ monitors as he even finds time to sit on them during his set. “Can everyone just take a look at my hair in the fan over here.”

Love or hate him , one things certain and that he is here to stay so let move on and let the festival ravers keep doing their thing courtesy of highly broadcasted affairs like Tomorrowland. With many predicting that he’s likely to receive a massive increase in bookings as a result of the online sensation. The club owners and agencies are lining up at a rapid rate the secure the internets newest viral sensation.
“I bet Salvatore Ganacci is just trolling and making fun of how DJs act on festivals nowadays, but everyone believes he’s being serious,” wrote one user. “He’s like an Andy Kaufman of electronic music or something.” One fan rightly quoted as Bali – you guessed it right, he’s on his way to Mirror on October 6.
