Its no secret that Bali is becoming Asia’s electronic music hub with each year and more and more festivals, high profile events and celebrities passing thru to party. In recent days Ultra Music’s CEO quoting ‘ We’re looking forward to developing Bali as THE exotic party paradise of Asia and Australia. In the same way that Europe has Ibiza & Croatia, North America has Miami and Sound America has Rio De Janerio, we strongly believe that Bali will be the next international party destination, with Ultra worldwide paving the way’. We can be certain that the world stage now has eyes upon us!

Bali already has a number of successful annual events, regular boutique outdoor festival style shows, both a great underground scene and huge commercial market so its only natural with the success of the islands industry, the strategic location of the island placed perfectly in between Australia and Asia growth is happening. Bali in the past 12 months has welcomed some great new world class venues both indoor & outdoor including Jenja, Mirror, Haze, Skai, Double 6 and lots more so its trending will only go forward. Alongside the new additions to the clubbing bucket list venues like Rockbar, Skygarden, Potato Head, Mint all continue to renovate, upgrade and reinvent themselves which once again is testament to how healthy the Bali entertainment industry is right now.

Last year we seen the inclusion of two stellar additions to Bali’s festival circuit with successful Dutch festival ‘Dreamfields’ cementing their place into the island of the Gods must attend calendar at iconic tourist location GWK. The newly formed Dutch / Indonesian partnership included current main-stage festival artists on the lineup such as Dash Berlin and Ummet Ozcan just to name a few. Secondly Indonesia’s biggest Electronic music promoters Ismaya Group – famous for their Jakarta Warehouse project (DWP) and Bali’s favourite beach club destination Potato Head introduced their Sunny Side Up concept with a lineup both out of the norm but oh so interesting gaining more attention on a global scale to our tiny island we all call home. After the success of both Dreamfields and Sunny Side Up they both return in 2015 with bigger things in mind gaining attention from the local community, expat residents and visitors with intent to come and party.

In 2015 the biggest addition to Bali’s festival circuit is undoubtedly Miami’s flagship festival spreading its wings into further international territory including Bali on their annual list of destinations. Still yet to announce their lineup, we have seen numerous bogus designs being shared around the lineup but one thing is for sure they wont be doing things in halves and with the price tag the festival has attached you know the big boys are coming to play.

Summer in Bali 2015 is huge there is not doubting that, something for everyone right across the board and we have only just touched the tip of the iceberg with whats happening in Bali 2015. If your planning on coming here for a holiday and heading out to party things just got a whole lot better, if your local or a regular visitor i’m sure your mind is already made up where next months salary has already gone to. Please just remember to play safe, respect the island and its people, share your memories & come back next year with more friends – as now you have even more reason to come visit our amazing island.
