Famous for not doing things in halves and boasting the biggest lineups each and every night they are open, Hakkasan has stamped their authority on the nightlife market both in the US and globally. Securing the services of artist such as Tiesto, Hardwell & Calvin Harris as their resident DJS is just a part of their operation since opening in 2013.
As the company continues to grow Hakkasan Group’s CEO Neil Moffitt has told Vegas Seven the club will be continuing to expand into our sunny shores and also neighbouring cities with two brand new venues in Indonesia planned for 2016.
Moffitt has told the Las Vegas publication that Hakkasan’s planning to open 25 new venues globally over the next two years, including a new beach club in Bali that “will probably be the most amazing beach club you’ve ever seen,” as well as an Indonesian edition of their newest Las Vegas superclub Omnia, housed in an Indonesian skyscraper along with five new restaurants. Check out our feature on Omnia’s opening night here with Calvin Harris.
The Hakkasan Group has yet to release any further information or a formal announcement of locations or opening dates for the two imminent & anticipated Indonesian venues, Moffitt has told Vegas Seven that the Hakkasan group won’t be cutting back on their extravagant budget for superstar DJs at any point in the near future indicating that Bali soon will be seeing a lot bigger DJS in the not to distant future. Check out exactly what Neil Moffit’s quotes below as Hardwell & Tiesto on a balmy summers night in Bali is looking more like a reality at a club near you very soon!
“Every booking that we ever make is analysed,” Moffitt said. “We know how many people we need to [bring in], what table revenues we need to drive, how many tickets we need to sell… If the analysts say, ‘Take Calvin [Harris] every day that you can, because the margin is so great and you’ll generate so much money,’ then I’ll take that deal…
“In 2016, nobody other than myself and two or three other people know what DJs are playing where, so we don’t program against ourselves… People will be pretty shocked with our programming.”
