When the crew at Crosstown Rebels put out a 4 track EP you know something special is in the air. While the tech house sound of late has come under some cross fire due to the stale amount of production thats being outputted, the techier work out’s in this package bring some much welcome creativity to the plate. Teamed up with some clever old school rave familiarity you know this is always going to bring a smile to the public’s general palette time and time again! ‘Avon’ is the pick of the bunch for us here at Bali Clubbing HQ as we love that 90’s breakbeat vibe but a hugely rounded out package and something for everyone within its wrapper. 9/10.
