Dubfire’s documentary film, Above Ground Level, is a forthcoming film charting his early beginnings to becoming one of the most influential music producers and DJs working today.
Giving a brief insight through the released Official trailer for the electronic music documentary film, its an inspiring story for one-half of the Grammy award-winning duo “Deep Dish”, Iranian-American Ali Shirazinia (aka ‘Dubfire’) whose story began in home country Iran, to later relocating with family to the United States where Dubfire discovered and ignited his passion for Electronic music.
The film chronicles Ali’s musical career from early days performing in local clubs in Washington, D.C to the challenges he faced on his journey to success. With candid interviews from family, childhood friends, industry peers, and fellow artists, such as Carl Cox, Chris Liebing, Svan Våth, Seth Troxler, Pete Tong, Richie Hawtin, and many others, it gives an intimate and honest look inside the world of dance music.
Above Ground Level is an insider’s look at Ali’s personal story, about pursuing passion, daring to dream big, to establishing himself as one of the world’s most successful DJs and producers.
This Friday 27th Above Ground Level will be given its debut screening to limited numbers in Miami as IMS teams up with Red Bull Guest House presenting the film for the very first time.
