Years in the making, Diplo’s renegade commando cartoon character Major Lazer, gets a life of his very own as FX Networks debuted the Major Lazer cartoon Friday night at midnight on FXX as part of their Animation Domination block.
Episodes will be available on Hulu to stream and iTunes for purchase after each episode airs. With guest appearances from Aziz Ansari, Andy Samberg, Tiësto, RiFF RAFF, Charli XCX, Ezra Koenig, Trinidad James and more, Major Lazer confirms that this will be one of the silliest and best sound-tracked years yet.
Major Lazer’s new hit single “Lean On”, a collab with DJ Snake & MØ, is currently resting at #2 on the Spotify Global charts with over two million plays a day and their album Peace Is The Mission drops 1st June on Mad Decent.
