Not one to shy away from his social media or tell it how it is, Ricardo Villalobos might have some answering of his own after his set at Cocoon in the Park on the weekend in northern shire Leeds in England.
Going after Carl Cox is no easy task no matter who’s next up to the plate but from checking 10 minutes or so of this video Ricardo both didn’t bring his A game and does not really seem to care about the crowd. More worried about his drink rider, friends backstage and who knows what else exactly was going thru Ricardo’s mind. Seriously on another planet or headspace?
Did Sven Vath come and kick him off the decks?? and how about those very Dragesque dance moves you gotta love them right? Make what you want of it, it sure is some entertaining viewing but those mixing skills are very subpar in anyones books!
With such an active role on social media both amongst the techno community and getting into battles with one of our favourite internet warriors Deadmau5 the response and backlash has been rather harsh and we’re sure this isn’t the end of it, lets watch this space for lots more to come i’m sure!
