In 2015, you don’t have to be in Miami to experience all the epic of Ultra Music Festival. The US-based brand has rapidly expanded around the world, with Ultra events now held everywhere from South Africa to Brazil and Ibiza. This year, the expansion is honing in on Asia.
The inaugural Road To Ultra party in Singapore will hit the city’s massive Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre on Saturday 19 September with a seriously heavyweight line-up: the first phase announcement features mainstage names Skrillex, Alesso and Nicky Romero, while support comes from Skrillex’s buddy Mija (who’s currently touring Canada on the Full Flex Express tour).
Road to Ultra Singapore is just one of three new Ultra parties in SE Asia to be announced this year: Ultra Bali will debut with a two-day festival at Seminyak’s Potato Head Beach Club on 24 and 25 September, while Road To Ultra Philippines debuts at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on Saturday 26 September. And if neither of those dates work for you, then Road to Ultra will also return to Thailand on Friday 12 June.
